The Left has gotten more and more brazen. It's as if they're trying push the limits by how obvious their projections and transferences have been recently. By this we mean Mountainman's Law:
Whenever a Leftist accuses someone of wrongdoing, they are actually doing this very same thing themselves.
So if a Democrat brings charges of a Republican cheating on his wife, then the Democrat is cheating on his wife. If a leftist accuses a conservative of cheating on their taxes, the leftist is cheating on their taxes.
So today Dr. Reich levels the accusation of Trump's supposed dementia. Yet for months people have been discussing the growing concern over Biden's obvious cognitive impairment. Dr. Reich will never acknowledge Biden's dementia, yet he's suddenly he's really, really concerned about dementia. Only it's not Biden!
We suspect that this is simply the next talking point of The Narrative. The Narrative is the daily talking points and bumper sticker slogans promulgated by Central Command. The media, academia, and the entertainment industry quickly and repeatedly disseminate these talking points until they receive new orders.
So Dr. Reich got the memo and immediately wrote an article about dementia, Trump's supposed dementia.
The media should be reporting on his growing paranoia, persecution complex, and cognitive impairment
Friends,
On Saturday, during a campaign speech in Durham, New Hampshire, Donald Trump invoked Vladimir Putin (of all people) as proof that he’s being persecuted:
“Putin says that Biden’s — and this is a quote — politically motivated persecution of his political rival is very good for Russia, because it shows the rottenness of the American political system, which cannot pretend to teach others about democracy.” (Wow, did Dr. Reich miss the point of this statement. Nothing in Dr. Reich's description of this statement is accurate. But of course, that's exactly the point. Accuracy is irrelevant. This is about the dissemination of ideas, not about the dissemination of facts.)
Some commentators see this and other Trump assertions about being persecuted as calculated efforts to fuel his base.
But what if Trump really thinks he’s being persecuted? What if he has a persecution complex? What if he believes his paranoid fantasies? (Trump was impeached twice, one of which when he wasn't even president. He's currently facing 91 criminal and civil charges in court. He's being accused of inciting an insurrection. He's just been yanked from the Colorado ballot. He was accused of colluding with Russia, threatening Ukraine on a phone call, threatening a Georgia election official, receiving emoluments, incorrectly reporting the value of a construction project, and being an authoritarian and a fascist.
But somehow Trump is paranoid.
So we come to the question: Is Trump being persecuted? If persecuted means continually harrassed, sued, hauled into court, fined, accused of all sorts of evil things without proof or a conviction, then yes, Trump is being persecuted.)
Trump is not facing nearly the same scrutiny for his age as is Joe Biden, (Whoa. This is exactly what we meant in our introduction. Leftist Robert Reich asserts exactly the opposite of the truth. The media have been studiously avoiding every single controversy and misstatement, every accusation, every memory lapse, every stumble, and every incoherent thought expressed by Biden. He's gotten a 100% pass from scrutiny.

So what does Dr. Reich do? Complain that Biden is being unfairly scrutinized, and it's much worse for him than Trump! It's really breath-taking how boldly false this is, and the fact that Dr. Reich typed it into his word processor with a straight face tells us a lot.)
yet Trump should be — especially as to increasing signs of dementia. (Perhaps we will be provided with some concrete examples of this...)
Biden is sane. He’s getting major bills passed. He’s negotiating with world leaders. (?? When did sanity become the issue? We were considering dementia, not sanity.

According to Dr. Reich, nothing at all is wrong with Biden. He flatly denies what everyone knows; even the leftists talking heads are talking about Biden's dementia. But Dr. Reich just issues a couple of summary statements as if the contents of those statements are proof of Biden's competence.)
But Trump — who has a family history of dementia — is increasingly incoherent and unhinged. (Now we have the second time he's made the accusation. Perhaps we will be provided with some concrete examples of this...)
He has confused Biden with Obama so often that he’s had to put out a statement that the slips have been intentional. (Indeed. There is little difference between Biden and Obama. And by the way, Who does Biden think is president?)
In September, Trump suggested that the way to prevent wildfires in California’s forest lands is to keep them damp. Here are his exact words:
Hello?
He also said that under his administration, shoplifters would be subject to extrajudicial execution.
In October, Trump warned his supporters that Biden will lead America into World War Two. (This is a news video where the reporter is expressing the concerns of voters about Biden's age. Oops.

“They say that there’s so much water up north that I want to have the overflow areas go into your forests and dampen your forests, because if you dampen your forests you're not gonna have these forest fires that are burning at levels that nobody’s ever seen.” (Apparently thinking that water on dry forests is evidence of dementia...)
Hello?
He also said that under his administration, shoplifters would be subject to extrajudicial execution.
“We will immediately stop all the pillaging and theft. Very simply, if you rob a store, you can fully expect to be shot as you are leaving that store.” (We certainly hope this would happen. It would certainly dissuade shoplifting, which is reaching epidemic level in major cities that are governed by leftists.)
In October, Trump warned his supporters that Biden will lead America into World War Two. (This is a news video where the reporter is expressing the concerns of voters about Biden's age. Oops.
By the way, expressing opinions is not an indicator of dementia.)
He has also claimed that Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group, is “very smart.” (Are they not smart? Are they smart about manipulating public opinion? Smart about planning and carrying out attacks?
He has also claimed that Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group, is “very smart.” (Are they not smart? Are they smart about manipulating public opinion? Smart about planning and carrying out attacks?
Or, maybe they are dumb? Are they dumb for killing innocent people? Are they dumb for living in a desert climate?
Hezbollah might be dumb or smart, or both. Trump's opinion about Hezbollah does not indicate dementia.)
That whales are being killed by windmills. That he won all 50 states in 2020. That he defeated Barack Obama in 2016. That the outgoing chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff should be executed. That MSNBC’s parent company is guilty of treason, and will “pay.” And that he will only be a dictator on “Day 1” of a new term. (Some of these accusations might be correct. Some of them might not be. Some of Trumps statements might be correct. Some of them might not be. Some of Trump's statements are wild, others are not.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, is relevant to the charge of dementia.)
The most telling evidence of Trump’s growing dementia (Now we have the third time he's made the accusation. Perhaps we will be provided with some concrete examples of this...)
The most telling evidence of Trump’s growing dementia (Now we have the third time he's made the accusation. Perhaps we will be provided with some concrete examples of this...)
is found in his paranoid thirst for revenge, on which he is now centering his entire campaign.
On November 11, he pledged to a crowd of supporters in Claremont, New Hampshire, that:
Are these the words of a sane person? (Absolutely.)

“We will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists and the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country, that lie and steal and cheat on elections and will do anything possible — they’ll do anything, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America and to destroy the American dream.”
Are these the words of a sane person? (Absolutely.)
Or of an aging paranoid megalomaniac? (Nope.)
Even if it’s unclear to which category Trump belongs, shouldn’t this question be central to the coverage of his campaign for reelection? (Nope.)
When I’ve asked members of the media why they’re not covering the increasing signs of Trump’s dementia, they say it’s “old news.”
After all, back in 2017, 27 psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals concluded in The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump that Trump’s mental health posed a “clear and present danger” to the nation. (But he was president for four years and none of the supposed problems manifested.)
Members of Trump’s own Cabinet — horrified by the January 6, 2021, violence at the Capitol and Trump's lack of urgency in stopping it — discussed whether to invoke the the 25th Amendment to remove him from office due to mental incompetence. (Now Dr. Reich has descended to fairy-tale land. This is evidence that the Left actually believes the stories they make up. And when others believe the stories, that is used as evidence that the story isn't made up. Hmm.)
But just because Trump has shown mental instability in the past doesn’t make his mental problems any less relevant now that he is seeking reelection. They’re more relevant. He appears even more delusional and unhinged than before.
If Biden’s age is fair game, (Finally a lukewarm acknowledgment that not all is well with Biden. But again, the topic is dementia, not sanity, and not age.)

why aren’t Trump’s age and apparent mental decline? (Because Trump's energy and mental acuity is rather amazing. Especially compared to the low-functioning Biden. Biden looks 95, and Trump looks 60.)
Biden may appear frail at times, but he’s rational. (How do we know this? Is it because Dr. Reich says so? Should we believe Dr. Reich or our own lyin' eyes?)

The growing evidence of Trump’s dementia and paranoia, on the other hand, poses a potential danger to the future of America — if he’s reelected. At the least, the media should be investigating and reporting on it.
