How not to submit to a tyrant - by Robert Reich (Harvard)

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-------------------------

Dr. Reich cannot even remember what he believes from day to day. Are rich institutions evil or good? Is having billions of dollars evil or good? Should powerful government be resisted or embraced?

Today he defends the extremely rich (but apparently virtuous) institution called Harvard for resisting the will of government. And tomorrow he will blast extremely rich (and evil) businesses, likely for not paying their fair share of taxes or for resisting some government dictate.

It's also worth noting that Harvard has experienced a surge in donations since Trump's actions,

...with $1.14 million collected in under 48 hours...

So it seems that if Harvard doesn't like Trump's dictates, the obvious solution is to stop taking federal money. It's clear that private donors are willing to take up the slack.

Stop asking about a Biden “cover-up” - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
---------------------

Astonishingly, Dr. Reich sticks hard and fast to The Narrative, even though what he previously denied was happening with Biden's cognition has now attained the status of common knowledge.

But to him it's still "so-called" and "alleged."

He's spinning with all his might, trying to avoid acknowledging that we had a president that was incompetent to lead the nation, and he particpated in the gaslighting. Dr. Reich wants to talk about anything else. Particularly if it gives him an excuse to blast Trump again.

Dr. Reich is a calculating liar. He's sold his soul to The Agenda, and likely doesn't have any idea how ridiculous he sounds. Someone needed to tell Biden to stop, and someone needs to tell Dr. Reich to stop.

The Big Chill - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-----------------------

Dr. Reich lists four pillars of a civil society: universities, science, the media, and the law. The Society for Peace would say scholarship, service, leadership, and character. She owns it lists family, social enterprises, faith institutions, and entrepreneurs. Human rights careers, with a decidedly leftist tilt, lists access, equity, participation, and human rights.

In other words, there isn't a recognized list of the four pillars of society. Dr. Reich simply makes it up. He has a penchant for this sort of thing, where cherry picking facts, misrepresenting events, and misquoting people, is almost a habit for him.

In our view, the four pillars of a civil society are Christianity, family, individual liberty, and limited government. Our list is as good as anyone's.

So Dr. Reich wants to warn us all about the supposed illegal actions of the Trump administration and the imperiled four pillars of a civil society. He worries that Trump is a tyrant who is going to silence dissent. He is concerned for the safety of people who might speak up in opposition. He thinks government employees are going to keep their heads down in fear of losing their jobs.

All this rings hollow, since we as conservatives have had to endure increasing leftist tyranny for the past two decades and Dr. Reich happily joined in. We have actually lived in what Dr. Reich is thinking as only a possibility. Now that the political tides are turning against he and his ilk, he's concerned that this monster of a government the Left has created is going to be used against them.

Well, good riddance.

A day that shall live in infamy, as should Donald J. Trump - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
---------------------------

The is a letter-perfect regurgitation of leftist revisionist history. Dr. Reich recites every false claim with robotic precision. We will simply note that any claim made here by Dr. Reich which has already been thoroughly documented as false will be affixed with a "Did not happen."

The Trump-Muskrat plot to kill Social Security - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
----------------------

Dr. Reich wants to foment greed. He wants you to think that you're entitled to other peoples' money. Your not getting your piece of the pie, so government needs to come in and extract more money from the rich so you can get your fair share of their money.

He hides his objectives behind the Social Security smokescreen. SS is actually another tool in the leftist arsenal with the potential to coerce even more money from the eeevil rich. SS is therefore not a retirement plan, it's a wealth extraction plan. He wants to use it to redistribute wealth from those who earned it to those who want it.

How to root out Trumpism What happened and what must be done - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
----------------------

Dr. Reich is up to his usual shenanigans. He rails against big business and billionaires, but gets confused as to who advocates for what and who is the bad guy.

As usual, Dr. Reich is reinforcing The Narrative in service to The Agenda. But this time he argues himself into a corner, unable to articulate why Trump is bad for doing the same things Bernie Sanders was advocating for.

It's really a incoherent mess. This is worse than usual for Dr. Reich.

Trump’s Bonkers Economic Plan - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
------------------------------

"Bonkers." Dr. Reich is given to hyperbole when comes his political adversaries. Things are never just incorrect, mistaken, improper, or out of order. No, they are always bonkers, bizarre, incoherent, and crazy.

Further, the complete ignorance on display in this article is breathtaking. Dr. Reich has no clue about the economy, business practice, or the problems government causes. Or more likely, he does understand but is devoted to telling The Narrative in service to The Agenda.

But worst of all, Dr. Reich denies reality. He warns about Trump and his policies and how damaging they will be. But it's like he doesn't know that we've already had Trump as president. We know what he did. We have experience and evidence. We can be assured none of the things Dr. Reich warns us will happen. Because they didn't happen.

It's what leftists are required to do. They must believe every talking point, every assertion, and every factoid promulgated by Central Command, no matter how ridiculous, fake, or absurd. And they must do it often, everywhere, and with a straight face.

It must be difficult to live life as a leftist.

Why is Trump claiming a coup? His mind cannot conceive of anything else - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-------------------

Speaking of a mind that cannot conceive of anything else,  Dr. Reich is completely locked in to the leftist narrative. Today, in his single-minded obsession with Trump, he steps up to the plate and whiffs yet again.

Dr. Reich cannot have a world where people who disagree with him are anything but bigots, haters, and extremists.

How to stop Musk - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
--------------------

**Update** Dr. Reich complains about lies told by Musk as the reason to cancel him. What does he think about Alexa informing people that Trump wasn't shot? Will he call for Google's cancellation?***
--------------------

This is a truly astounding article. Dr. Reich has an ax to grind with Elon Musk, solely on the basis of opinions. Does Dr. Reich want to persuade? No. Does the case he presents carry a thoughtful, considered objective? Negatory. Is he interested in discourse and give and take? Not on your life.

Dr. Reich wants to punish Musk. Punish him for lying (actually, for expressing opinions Dr. Reich doesn't like.) He wants to bring the full weight of government down on him. Hit him hard. Because he doesn't like Musk.

That's it.

This is the current state of the political Left. Having long abandoned 60s tolerance, love and peace, opposing the Man, and doing your own thing, these people have become what they opposed. In fact, they have became the worst parts of the Man themselves: Wielding power to silence dissent, maliciously prosecuting political enemies, punishing unapproved thoughts and speech, and instilling fear in law-abiding citizens.

Utterly lacking in self-awareness, Dr. Reich happily embraces Gestapo tactics and Fascist language, hiding behind something called the "public interest." That is, one man, Musk, is a serious danger by expressing ideas contrary to the ficticious collective interest of hundreds of millions of Americans.

Dr. Reich is a man that you should avoid at all costs.

Debunking Myth #9: “Inflation is caused by wage increases and too much government spending.” BUNK! - by ROBERT REICH

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-------------------

In his latest installment in service of The Narrative, Dr. Reich again tortures logic and reason in pursuit of his hatred of successful businesses. He thinks inflation is companies raising their prices. He thinks government is the fix and not the cause.

In fact, he never discusses the premise posed by the title. He just dismisses it and move son to accuse businesses of causing inflation.

Debunking Myth #7: America is socialist - BUNK! - by ROBERT REICH

Found here. Our comments in bold.
------------------------

Dr. Reich doesn't explain what Socialism is, but yet he is able to make mention of many government programs that are Socialist in nature. But the purpose of the article is to claim that America is not Socialist.

Dr. Reich seems unable to put together a procession of ideas. In fact, he explains absolutely nothing.

This article is a logical nightmare.

Debunking myth #5: “The market doesn’t play favorites.” BUNK! - ROBERT REICH

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-----------------------

Dr. Reich again provides service to The Agenda. He reinforces the talking points of The Narrative, which is the leftist version of reality. And as usual, his presentation is crippled by undocumented assertions and false talking points.

What to say to a Republican who complains about the federal debt - by ROBERT REICH

Found here. Our comments in bold.
---------------------

One can be sure that if a leftist is going to explain something, it will not be accurate, it will not clarify, and it will not be intended to impart information.

That's because leftists like Dr. Reich are only interested in The Narrative, that is, the talking points and bumper sticker slogans promulgated by Central Command. The Narrative is circulated throughout the media landscape every day, and writers, commentators, and news operations dutifully regurgitate it.

So Dr. Reich pretends to be a truth teller, but he's simply doing his duty to repeat The Narrative, spouting agitprop in service to The Agenda. The Agenda is the dismantling of the system. The system, being racist, unfair, and hurtful to the worker and minorities, must be replaced.

But in actual fact, none of these issues are important to the Left. They are simply excuses for advancing the leftist dream. So, nothing you will read below will be true, accurate, logical, or helpful.

This article is The Narrative, which facilitates The Agenda. The reader should keep this in mind at all times.

The left is obsessed with other people's money. They want it. They spend it. The problem has always been spending

Last year, the federal government took in a record $4.9 trillion in revenue, more than triple the $1.58 trillion the government collected just 25 years earlier (1997)....

That’s an average increase of more than eight percent a year, far more than the rate of inflation (which has averaged 2.4% annually over the past 25 years) plus the increase in the U.S. population (roughly 0.7% annually). The total of all economic activity in the United States per year (GDP) is currently $26.1 trillion, which means the federal government now claims nearly one-fifth (19.6%) of all dollars for itself, a much higher rate than the long-term average of 16.5 percent.

But Dr. Reich thinks the government simply needs more money. And it's the rich who unjustly possess that money. It's a familiar Marxist theme.

The biggest contrast in the upcoming election (other than democracy vs. "blood in the streets" fascism) - By Robert Reich

Found here.

Today Dr. Reich is more incoherent that usual. If he didn't have his bumper sticker slogans handy he would be completely unintelligible.

He wants to "save" Social Security for the umpteenth time. It's been saved before, but because rich people do bad stuff it needs saving again. And this time only more taxes will save SS. Tax increases always make things better.

The most troubling aspect of today’s Supreme Court decision - by Robert Reich

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-----------------

Dr. Reich never ceases to amaze us with his astounding ability to agree or disagree with the issues of the day based only on his leftist perspective. The thing he opposes when they go against his politics are the same things he favors when they favor of his politics.

He always is supportive of court rulings that conform to his politics. So if, say, Florida had ruled that Biden could not appear on its ballot, Dr. Reich would be arguing the opposite of what is found below.

Dr. Reich is semi-adept at the rhetorical wigglings that are necessary to make it sound like he's being thoughtful and reasonable.

But he is an apparatchik spewing leftist talking points, nothing else.

The Emerging Republican Theocracy - White Christian nationalism is the creed of red America - by ROBERT REICH

Found here. Our comments in bold.
--------------------

The most striking thing about this screed, aside from its irredeemable irrationality, is its irony. Everything Dr. Reich complains about is implemented or about to be implemented by the Left. Dr. Reich goes on and on about the possibility of dangerous authoritarianism of "Christian nationalists" while right now we have the authoritarianism of the Left in operation. He wants freedom of religion while the Left is simultaneously silencing Christians for putting their faith into practice.

Can anyone remember "Christian nationalism" being a thing prior to maybe a few years ago? The idea appeared out of nowhere, doubtless a talking point from the deep state. It's truly astounding how fast these bumper sticker slogans gain traction.

So, Dr. Reich thinks these "Christian nationalists" are dangerous. They are going discriminate, force people to believe in God, and march people off to the gulag. This nonsense is designed to ramp up outrage against an imagined enemy so as to mobilize the troops. The objective, of course, is to suppress Christianity.

But the upshot is, even if every "danger" described by Dr. Reich is true, we would still prefer that society over the one envisioned by Leftists.

Why the hell is Trump rising in the polls? (Why American capitalism is so rotten, Part 6) The real choice ahead - by ROBERT REICH

Found here. Our comments in bold.
--------------

Dr. Reich has no idea why Trump is polling better than Biden. He cannot fathom it. Or, he does know but would rather keep to The Narrative, that is, the leftist talking points promulgated throughout the media every day.

He spouts these leftist talking points with facility. There is almost nothing true in the below article. He makes no argument or refutation. He presumes his world view as he cites evidence that actually is contrary to his position.

Worst of all, he quotes Trump but does not comment, as if what Trump said was somehow offensive or incorrect, even though each of Trump's assertions are perfectly reasonable.

What about Trump’s dementia? - by ROBERT REICH

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-----------------

The Left has gotten more and more brazen. It's as if they're trying push the limits by how obvious their projections and transferences have been recently. By this we mean Mountainman's Law:

Whenever a Leftist accuses someone of wrongdoing, they are actually doing this very same thing themselves.

So if a Democrat brings charges of a Republican cheating on his wife, then the Democrat is cheating on his wife. If a leftist accuses a conservative of cheating on their taxes, the leftist is cheating on their taxes.

So today Dr. Reich levels the accusation of Trump's supposed dementia. Yet for months people have been discussing the growing concern over Biden's obvious cognitive impairment. Dr. Reich will never acknowledge Biden's dementia, yet he's suddenly he's really, really concerned about dementia. Only it's not Biden!

We suspect that this is simply the next talking point of The Narrative. The Narrative is the daily talking points and bumper sticker slogans promulgated by Central Command. The media, academia, and the entertainment industry quickly and repeatedly disseminate these talking points until they receive new orders.

So Dr. Reich got the memo and immediately wrote an article about dementia, Trump's supposed dementia.

Do billionaires have a right to exist? - by ROBERT REICH

Found here. Our comments in bold.
----------------------

Dr. Reich has already discussed this, but we suppose it's time to recycle this talking point.

Can you imagine? What sort of person would ask if someone has a right to exist? Besides the sheer hutzpah of this is the idea behind it: There should be an entity with the power to decide things about people. In this case it is wealth, but of course there is no limit to the power of an entity that has the power to decide wealth.

We find it astounding that anyone would presume to dictate how much money a person is allowed to keep. This is a feature of dictatorships and tyrannies. Yet Dr. Reich wants government to simply confiscate a person's money at whim.

What Dr. Reich does not seem to realize is that a government that can go after billionaires' money can go after his $5 million too.

That is the Agenda, the overthrow of the system. Make everyone equal by taking away the money of the rich. Government needs that money to fund more programs. In fact, it wants it all, no limits.

Dr. Reich's title is somewhat of a misdirection, since he isn't going to be discussing the execution of billionaires via firing squad or lethal injection. At least this is what we hope. No, he wants government to target billionaires' excessive money. Maybe the spilling of blood might be necessary if other means do not work, but that has never stopped a Marxist.
