Christians Fleeing from the Truth to Parler Need to Stop - by Rev. Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
------------------

We have suspected the author is a closet leftist for some time now. Aside from his political proclamations, he argues like a leftist, reasons like a leftist, pretends to tell the truth like a leftist, denigrates like a leftist, and presumes his own superiority like a leftist.

Rev. Wade presumes without evidence that what Christians are fleeing from is the truth, without documenting this. Neither does he explain what's wrong with moving to Parler.

The below screed furthers our case. There isn't a single documented statement or biblical explanation contained here. Scattered, unfocused, and explaining absolutely nothing, Rev. Wade edifies no one.
------------------

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. - Romans 1:16 (ESV)

Let's start with the basics. Jesus Christ gave us one directive and that was to spread the Gospel to the corners of the earth. (This is false.
Jn. 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.)
It is the only thing that matters because as the key verse states only the Gospel has the power of God unto the salvation of man. Translation? No one gets saved without the Gospel. This is the imperative of the kingdom. It is not to conquer seven cultural mountains. It is not to take up the mantle of any worldly cause, no matter how much we think it is righteous. (Rev. Wade makes a categorical statement, that we do not take up worldly causes. But in the next paragraph he commands us to care about the truth regarding the things of this world, which will include the "truth" of the results of the election.

It's this kind of muddied thinking that continues to astound us as to how anyone can consider the man a serious commentator.)

It is not to become cultural warriors or try to change the behavior of those who are lost. Convincing someone to behave better, either through speech or legislation still saves no one. (This is mystifying. According to Rev. Wade, Christians should not work to pass laws that change the behavior of the lost. Aside from the pure foolishness of this, it is not a topic the Bible discusses. Nor does it make any sense from any logical perspective.
  • First, all laws attempt to change behavior. That's the purpose of laws.
  • Second, Christians should want laws against murder, theft, assault, embezzlement, etc., etc., since it's in their interest as well as society's to have an orderly and just society.
  • Third, any Christian should be opposed to those who perpetrate crime and in favor of lawbreakers going to jail.
  • Fourth, the Gospel is a matter apart from the law. Rev Wade offers a false choice. We do not have to choose one over the other.)
The NAR has done a masterful job of infiltrating the church and leading it so far astray from the Gospel while still thinking they are doing God's righteous work. The enemy has many schemes he leverages against the people of God for the sole purpose of preventing or even slowing the spread of the Gospel. Why? Because that is all that matters. That's the whole game. This is why the bible implores us to not be ignorant of the schemes the enemy uses.

One desired goal of the enemy is to damage our witness of Christ. He uses many schemes to achieve this goal. One of the growing methods that is proving very successful is the wholesale abandonment of the truth by people professing faith in Christ. The devil loves to muddy the waters and throw everything into shades of grey but we know absolute truth because of the word of God. It is one of the primary reasons the world hates Christianity. As such we need to guard the truth closely and not let the elements of this world skew it. If the unsaved see that we care so little about the truth regarding the things of this world, why would they ever believe us when it comes to the Gospel? (Ah, here it is. It is important to defend worldly truth. He doesn't want Christians to influence society because that is worldly, but he wants to make sure Christians believe the correct worldly truth.

Rev. Wade will commence to tell us what those truths are, and impugn those who dispute them.)

That witness damaging end is the result of considering our carnal leanings instead of our eternal responsibilities.

That brings us to the election last week and the definitive call for Joe Biden as the winner. (Um, no. The media has called the election based on initial counts. At this writing, no state has certified the count or submitted their electors to the Senate for enumeration.)

This is what is known as the truth. There is no widespread voter fraud. (This is exactly what leftists say, in the form of a summary denial. There is no widespread voter fraud, because that is what the media and the political Left continually tell us. Verbatim. But of course nobody actually knows this "fact," because voter fraud, whether widespread or not, is intended to be difficult to detect. All crimes are.

In addition, there would need to be an investigation to determine if there was fraud, and to what extent this fraud might have been perpetrated. This has not happened, nor will it. Indeed, defenders of the "truth" like Reverend Wade uniformly oppose such investigations.)

There are no court cases that will overturn the will of the people. (Another leftist meme. We don't yet know if this is the will of the people, and we certainly don't know that outcome of any court cases that have yet to happen.

Further, the "will of the people" is routinely overturned by the courts. If Rev. Wade doesn't know this, he is ill-quipped to evaluate these issues.

Now Rev. Wade will attempt to manipulate by associating these supposed truths about the election with conspiracy theories unrelated to the matter at hand. This is nothing more than an effort to color the election issues as being kook theories.)

There is not secret sting designed by Trump to place watermarks on the ballots any more than there was a pedophile ring operated by Hillary Clinton out of a Washington DC pizzeria back in 2016. When you post such nonsense or insist that up is down or black is white you only set yourself up to look deranged and damage whatever witness for Christ you may have. (Notice how perfectly this all aligns with leftist talking points.)

(Now, finally, Rev. Wade will get to the actual topic in his very last inscrutable paragraph...)

Along with this we are seeing an exodus from Facebook and Twitter to a new platform known as Parler and it seems many who call themselves Christian are leading the way. Parler is a new alternative to mainstream platforms that markets itself as friendlier to free speech but in reality it simply will not fact check what is currently conducted by the Facebooks and Twitters of the world. (Rev. Wade wants us to stay on Facebook [which apparently is "truth" because it is fact-checked and censored by leftists], but will later tell us to come out of the sewer of this world, apparently by not going to Parler.)

This will be the new source for absurd conspiracy theorist outfits like Qanon, who swears that there is an evil cannibal/pedophile underground run by Democrats and Donald Trump is secretly warring against them. (More verbatim leftist talking points...)

Please stop and realize how crazy that sounds. That is what Parler is going to be. That cannot be what any Christian should be. Be very careful beloved. Parler is just a natural end result of a carnal desire to distort the truth. It is at worst a scheme of the enemy to ruin your witness for Christ. At best, the enemy will use it as such. Come out of the sewer of this world and its politics and come back to the truth and the Gospel. It is the only thing that should matter.

(The patent nonsense of this paragraph leaves us at loss for words. Apparently we should stay on a website that actively polices peoples' speech [according to their own standards], and assiduously avoid a website where peoples' speech is not policed at all, because someone there might say something stupid or wrong. And somehow this hurts our witness for Christ.

Remember how Rev. Wade told us we should not try to influence the world to better behavior? But apparently we should attempt to influence the world by not stupidly leaving Facebook. We wouldn't want them to think we're idiots.)

If this makes any sense to you, we salute you.)
