Elementary School Offering Satanic Studies? NAR Gets Masterfully Trolled - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-------------------------

It's been a blessed time of respite from Rev. Wade's incendiary posts. We have not had reason to comment on his writings because he is fixated on the NAR and hates Republicans and conservatives, so his dozens of recent articles articles contain nothing new.

Today he levels his guns at those who want their children to have the opportunity to have time away from the endless barrage of wokeism and get some good, old fashioned Christianity.

In his scriptureless "devotional" he will disparage those who want their children to be able to attend religious classes during the school day, but will write approvingly of Satanists for their wonderful tolerance.

Rev. Wade barely disguises his left-wing proclivities. He pretends to teach about Christianity, but his articles are actually political screeds and leftist agitprop sloppily dressed up with a veneer of Christianese.

Ordinarily we would tag this with "bad Bible teaching," but there is no Bible teaching here at all.
-----------------------------

The Charisma News headline blared out something that seemed almost too bad to be true - "Elementary School Offering Satanic Studies!" It seemed like such obvious clickbait, that Charisma is renowned for, that I passed it by until this morning when I saw the report offered on a mainstream news website. So, I decided to take a look at the above link from Charisma and see how they framed this true story, whose blame can be laid directly at the feet of the NAR dominionist church. (Oh. Satanists in schools is the fault of the NAR. Let's see if Rev. Wade gives us evidence for this claim.)

I have constantly tried to warn that this country is not a theocracy, so when you pass rules and laws to benefit your religion by mixing it with the state, (So the NAR passed rules and laws to benefit Christianity? What laws are those?)

you open Pandora's Box for any other religion as well. (It's not these supposed NAR laws that benefit other religions. Christianity was in the schools since the inception of our country up until the early 1960s. The NAR wasn't even around when Christianity was given the boot from schools.

Those groups demanding access to schools are able to do so by appealing to constitutional provisions [albeit misinterpreted], and are facilitated by Christ haters. In fact, anti-christ powers have been accessing public institutions for many decades, while simultaneously excluding Christianity from those institutions.

Therefore, those who want access for Christians are simply attempting to restore what we had before Christianity was banned.

Basically, Rev. Wade has it backwards.)

There is a reason why the founders believed in the separation of church and state and please do not fall for the brain-dead NAR talking points that try and pretend they did not want that. (Dissent from Rev. Wade's opinion is not just wrong, but brain dead. This is why we tag our posts about him with "scorched earth discernment.")

They absolutely did and to claim otherwise is to show a breathtaking stupidity (He piles on. Brain dead and now breathtaking stupidity. Disagreeing with Rev. Wade means that one is a complete idiot, ignorant, and probably evil. Thus he frames the issue as his opinion being the only choice.)

when it comes to the history of this country. That essential part of the founder's philosophy was not to shut Christianity out (??? Rev. Wade is complaining about theocracy, remember? He wants Christianity shut out because otherwise it opens the door for every religion, remember? )

but rather to prevent any and all religions from taking over the government. (Rev. Wade mentioned the separation of church and state, which has nothing to do with religion taking over government. The principle was articulated by Thomas Jefferson in a letter to the Danbury Baptists to assure them that government was enjoined from meddling in religion.

Again Rev. Wade has it backwards.)

They did not want the systems they escaped from which relied upon religious dogma to dictate many public institution's direction. (Yet at their behest Christianity was heavily entangled in their newly formed government. How does Rev. Wade explain this?)

The NAR does not care though because of their staggering arrogance and they just never thought ahead as to what the consequences might be. Allowing Christian prayer in school for example, means that Muslim prayer has to be allowed on equal footing. (As we mentioned, Christian prayer was in schools before it was banned as unconstitutional, beginning with Engel v. Vitale in 1962. There were no Muslim prayers in schools prior to 1962. The presence of Christian practices in schools for 150 years did not create a surge of other religions wanting access.

Rev. Wade is completely wrong, dare we say brain dead and breathtakingly stupid. No, we shall not do so. Rev. Wade is mistaken and perhaps deceived.)

Allowing the Ten Commandments in a courthouse paves the way for other religions to be equally represented as well. (Here is a picture of the US Supreme Court building in Washington DC:

Who is that fellow in the center? Let's zoom in:

Oh, it's Moses, holding the two tablets representing the Ten Commandments. Did the NAR carve this frieze?

Various Christian symbols are found all over Washington DC. Was it the NAR who caused all this to happen?

For 150 years the nation was influenced by Christianity [or more specifically, completely comfortable with mutual cooperation]. Where were all these other religions during this time? Why didn't they infiltrate schools back then?)

So, let us reason once more through this bizarre short story above.

"An elementary school in Marysville, Ohio, is offering a "satanic studies" program. The Hellion Academy of Independent Learning (HAIL) program serves as a "religious release" period for children. The Satanic Temple operates the program. June Everett, described by NBC 4 as the "campaign director for the After School Satan Club and an ordained minister for the Satanic Temple," said a parent reached out to the Satanic Temple, requesting a program be implemented at the school. "We aren't trying to shut the LifeWise Academy down, but I do think a lot of school districts don't realize when they open the door for one religion, they open it for all of them," Everett said." - Charisma News

In 2014 the NAR church leaders and influencers in the cultural mountain of government thought it would be cool to mix public school with Christianity. They created the religious release program that allowed schools to release students early to engage in religious studies. (Rev. Wade keeps tripping over himself, mostly because he so completely buys in to the mythology of the political Left. Yes, Rev. Wade is a leftist.

Released Time is not something that the NAR just conjured up:
The original idea of released time in the United States was first discussed in 1905 at a school conference in New York City. The proposal was that public elementary schools should be closed one day a week, in addition to Sunday, so that parents could have their children receive religious instruction outside the school premises. This idea was later implemented by Dr. William Albert Wirt, an educator and superintendent of the school district of Gary, Indiana, in 1914.
Rev. Wade is beclowning himself.)

I am surprised it took ten years for someone else to take advantage of this absurdity but now we have what appears to be the most excellent example of trolling the NAR I have seen in some time. June Everett, a minister at the Satanic Temple tried to explain what many Christians cannot understand:

"We are not devil worshipers. Different Satanists across the United States will give you different answers depending on how they personally believe. But as a whole, we are non-theistic, meaning we don't believe in any supernatural deities and that includes, you know, God or Satan." - June Everett

Please, I am not suggesting that this means they are harmless, far from it. That is not the point. The point is this is the end result of trying to Christianize the country, instead of preaching the gospel and letting people be drawn by the Holy Spirit. Realize that a parent reached out to Everett and asked for this. You cannot continue to show disdain for the lost and think you can shove our beliefs down their throats. At some point, they will push back. Like Everett or not, she is 100% correct when she says that when you open the door for one religion, you open the door to all of them. (Oh, so that's where Rev. Wade got this oft-repeated talking point, from the Satan worshiper. In other words, he agrees with the devil on this point, and has made it the central argument of his article.)

'Each lesson in LifeWise, a Christian program, focuses on three areas: Head, Heart and Hands.

The curriculum is "designed to take students through the entire Bible, beginning in Genesis and ending in Revelation," LifeWise's website says. "Each lesson reviews a Bible passage as well as a 'Living LifeWise' character trait. The lessons' order and activities are flexible and can be modified as the teacher finds necessary." The Satanic Temple described the HAIL program as a program for students that "allows them to learn about values such as empathy, compassion, and justice in a fun environment without religious pressure or coercion." "Any students who choose not to attend are later regaled with stories of fun activities and warnings from their classmates that they will surely burn in hell for not participating," the Satanic Temple added. "These programs have been heavily pushed in recent years by groups such as Lifewise Academy and Joy El Club."' - Charisma News

Now, if you removed the fact that the HAIL Program was held at the Satanic Temple, both curricula descriptions sound perfectly reasonable for children, no? LifeWise uses biblical characters to teach positive traits, which I can only assume means they stay away from some of the more salacious biblical characters? (Displaying his Leftist bonafides once again, he levels an attack on the Bible because it tells about the many moral indiscretions of its characters.)

Or maybe they just put a fresh coat of Christianese on them? The nuances of King David being and adulterer and murderer yet still a man after God's heart is probably not best designed for kids to understand. (Really, Rev. Wade? You're speculating on the contents of the LifeWise program, wondering if it teaches about murder and adultery? What? Why?)

Notice that the HAIL program is teaching empathy, compassion and justice, free of religious pressure and coercion. (After noting his disapproval of the salacious details of Bible characters, he turns approvingly to the HAIL program's superior values.)

Note the word coercion. That is how the lost view what silly laws such us this really are. We are not supposed to try and coerce people into our faith beloved. (The presence of Bible information in schools is coercive, but the HAIL program is not? What?

We are absolutely convinced that Rev. Wade. is incapable of clear thinking.)

The poke they make about telling people who do not go that they will surely burn in hell might sound mean but it basically is just the trolling coming full circle. (Rev. Wade approves of HAIL once again.)

The message from the NAR to the lost is about them going to hell, (??? This is a central teaching of historic Christianity.)

so why be offended when someone simply co-opts your position? (??? Who is offended? About what?)

Make no mistake about it beloved. Ohio now has to allow students to leave school early to attend a class at the local Satanic Temple because of the NAR -period full stop. (No, the Ohio government voted to allow parents the choice of doing this, not because of the NAR, but because the removal of Christianity from the schools has caused numerous problems. Other religions competing for their part was never a problem in the early 20th century. In fact, this is a developing problem based on the idea that publicly-funded schools must be secular, excruciatingly fair, and serve the state's interest rather than the parent's.)

When you hear all of the seven mountains nonsense it may sound good. Prayer in schools might tickle the ears but that is only because Christianity is still largely in charge. Who knows what the demographics will look like 10 years, fifty years from now? (Rev. Wade opposes Christianity in the schools because of what might happen later. Puerile.)

I am sure in 2014 Ohioans thought this was a great idea. Just ten years later however and here we are. Thirty three percent of this country are either non-Christian identified or not affiliated at all. Forty million people have left the church in the past 25 years alone. The great apostasy is well underway. All the world hears from the church is judgment and hatred. (All we hear from Rev. Wade is hatred of the NAR and those who would want to stem the flow of godlessness in our institutions.)

Then they watch as they pass draconian laws or advocate for rules that appear to only benefit the Christian faith. That is not how our country was birthed or currently exists. It never was and never will be a theocracy. Keep mixing church and state but do not whine when other churches and faiths take advantage of the same exact nonsense. Preach the gospel - leave those imaginary cultural mountains far, far behind.

From Hillsong to Bethel to Elevation - What Worship is and Should Never Be - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
---------------

It's been some time since Rev. Wade appeared in our blog. This is because He writes about the same things over and over, invariably about the "NAR."

He is routinely scattershot in his presentation, and is prone to making undocumented claims.

This "devotional" is mostly a rehash of this article, with a little bit of new material. He does what he always does, he picks a target and goes on and on about them.

NAR New Shiny New Object to Hate? Taylor Swift - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
--------------------

Too often we are pressed into service regarding Rev. Wade's bombastic pontifications. We thought he had already hit bottom, but surprisingly, this screed is even lower.

We can't emphasize enough that Rev. Wade puts these on his website under the heading, "devotionals:"

It's well past time we defined what a devotional is, because Rev. Wade clearly doesn't understand:

A devotional is a tool to help you grow in your relationship with God and others. It can be a Bible reading plan, a series of meditations, a liturgical exercise, or a daily selection of verses with a thoughtful essay...

Rev. Wade's "devotional" is completely devoid of Bible verses, Bible explanations, or Bible meditations. He's simply debating the meaning of the lyrics of a Taylor Swift song. He disagrees with someone about what they mean. That's it. That's the "devotional."

Astounding.

Responding to Dr. Michael Brown's Questioning of Discernment Ministers - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-----------------------

"Discernment" ministers don't like to be discerned. They bristle at being questioned, held to their own standards, or subject to any sort of evaluation.

Rev. Wade is offended at the questions posed by Dr. Brown. He's outraged that anyone might suggest that "discernment" ministers ought to be held accountable. The thing about it is, "discernment" ministers are often worthy of criticism. They are too often over-the-top, insulting, and, yes, down right wrong.

In keeping with their hyperbolic tendencies, their response to criticism is also hyperbolic.

Here's a "discernment" ministry that claims that its brand of discernment is definitionally loving.

This is a "discernment" minister who was respectfully asked a question about the status of her heart when she writes about false teachers, and her response is truly astounding.

This same person does concede that some criticism is deserved, but spends the greater part of her article complaining about how difficult it is to be a "discernment" minister.

Here we have a person who believe that only false teachers are divisive, which apparently justifies any and all bad behavior of "discernment" ministers towards false teachers.

"Discernment" ministers can get really nasty. Here's some examples:
  • Here's a fellow who seriously wants all charismatics to die of COVID (from Protestia's predecessor "Pulpit and Pen").
  • Karen Swallow, an admittedly questionable Christian, was "discerned" (by Protestia) as follows:
hideously ugly
post-menopausal woman
bizarre wardrobe choices
a penchant for cackling
no personal charisma
a face that scares children
a voice that sounds like nails down a chalkboard
pugnacious
unladylike
uglier on the inside than she is on the outside
the personality of a Roomba
the personal charisma of fetid corpse
unpleasant and evil woman
  • Here's a "discernment minister" (also from Protestia) who thinks it's appropriate to rank the worst Christian of the year.
  • Here's one who accuses a person of committing the unforgiveable sin.
  • This man feels it's within the bounds of proper discourse to call someone an imbecile (also from Protestia's predecessor "Pulpit and Pen").
  • T.D. Jakes might have some problems, but here's what a Rev. Wade himself wrote about him: TD Jakes deserves no honor among bible teaching, God-fearing men. Like you, he deserves nothing but our contempt and the working end of the shepherd's rod.
  • Rev. Wade also says we don't have to pray for people who are false teachers.
There are many more examples, including from Rev. Wade, that we could list. We don't want to suggest the above examples are typical, but they happen frequently enough that they're not aberrations.

Lastly, Rev. Wade's "devotional" doesn't contain a single quote from the Bible or a discussion of any spiritual principle. It's continually dismaying to us how these people think they can be any sort of minister, let alone a discernment minister, without quoting or even discussing the Bible.

Why The Unbiblical IHOP 24-7 Prayer Model Has to Go - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
----------------

Rev. Wade has now written in excess of 20 "devotionals" about the IHOP debacle. Astonishing. Today he writes almost 1700 words, but 1520 of them are employed to simply rehash his previous "devotionals" about IHOP. That leaves only 177 words spent actually discussing the subject.

So let's examine his "biblical" case that the 24-7 prayer is unbiblical. For clarity, we have eliminated everything else he writes about.

Bethel Faux Worship Song "Champion" Makes YOU the Champion - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
------------------------

Sadly, the eristical Rev. Wade returns to our blog. We continue to comment on his articles because we view it to be our duty to stand as watchmen on the wall. We would not write about everyday Christians getting something wrong, but we do feel obligated to oppose those who would position themselves as truth-tellers, teachers, and Correctors of Doctrine while teaching errantly.

We have deemed people like him as the "Doctrinal Police." The Doctrinal Police have particular characteristics, including
  • they avoid quoting Scripture
  • they make undocumented assertions
  • they personally attack their theological opponents
  • they narrow the spectrum of orthodoxy so that any deviation is heresy
  • they engage in breathlessly urgent rhetoric over relatively small matters
  • they have thin skins when they are subjected scrutiny themselves
Rev. Wade is a particularly spectacular example of this, so much so that we created another tag, "scorched earth discernment," to account for the often egregious rhetoric that spews from his word processor.

Rev. Wade once again only manages to quote a single Scripture, which he barely discusses right at the end. We suspect it's there to provide cover for his desire to write about other things.

We should note that we are not particularly interested in defending the song. Rather, we are here to examine Rev. Wade's presentation.

The Binary Choice Deception - Cessationism Vs. Charismania, Both are Equally Wrong - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
------------------

It's been nearly three months since we've critiqued a Rev. Wade article. It's been a welcome respite from his typical flaming-throwing offerings.

But unfortunately we're back today, hoping that he's finally going to explain something. Here he's supposed to set us straight about what's wrong with each side of the cessation/charismatic debate. But he uses over 2100 words to tell us nothing about the Bible regarding these two sides. Nothing.

Rev. Wade posted this as a devotional. But he doesn't quote or even reference a single Scripture, except for the irrelevant opening Scripture. He doesn't tell us about any Bible precept, holy principle, or anything about the faith. Nothing. Yet it's a devotional. Hmm.

False Worship is False Doctrine - The Case Against Listening to Hillsong - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
------------------

The truculent and bombastic Rev. Wade returns to our blog. As is his wont, Rev. Wade provides a stream-of-consciousness, unfocused, unreferenced rant that is almost completely devoid of any spiritual value. Yet he persists in putting these screeds under the his subheading "devotionals."

In over 2100 words Rev. Wade will make many claims about the Bible, but will not quote it or reference it aside from the opening verse. He will also make many claims about his theological adversaries without even bothering to discuss or explain.

Lastly, we note that Rev. Wade will not be telling us why we shouldn't listen to Hillsongs, he will be telling us why churches should not use Hillsongs in the services.

Andy Stanley Declares You do not Need to Believe in the Inerrancy of Scripture to Follow Jesus - By Anthony Wade

Found here. our comments in bold.
--------------------

Another scattershot presentation by the choleric Rev. Wade. As usual, he rails against his perceived enemies with a stream-of-consciousness, barely coherent rant. The fact that he labels these as devotionals continually amazes us.

This quickly will become a muddled mess. By the end of this screed one will not be able to ascertain Rev. Wade's point was or where Andy Stanley was wrong.

We should note that we are not here to defend Andy Stanley. He may indeed be teaching false doctrines. Our intent is to examine Rev. Wade's presentation.

Odds & Ends - Dave Ramsey Gets Sued and Chick-fil-A Commits Heresy? - by Rev. Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.

The irascible and often unintelligible Rev. Wade is back for another round of vague accusations, undocumented claims, and wild tangents. It's a logical mess. He expends over 1700 words (minus quoted material) in this "devotional" without a single Scripture or Scripture reference apart from the opening verse.

Rev. Wade is a political Leftist. He spouts leftist talking points with fluidity. He is obsessed with the NAR because of their supposed deification of Republicans. He hates those who love their country and want to change it for the better. However, he never, ever has a bad word for any Democrat or Leftist.

We are going to skip Rev. Wade's ramblings about Dave Ramsey, for there is nothing there of substance or value.

Marcus Rogers - Misunderstanding Tongues and Baptism - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.

------------------

The reliably garrulous and bombastic Rev. Wade spews over 2200 words, not including quoted material, and explains nothing.

Happily, he actually quotes several Scriptures. This is remarkable, because he rarely does so. Unfortunately, as is his wont he doesn't explain anything. He simply makes his assertions and moves on.

Now, perhaps Marcus Rogers is a charlatan and a false teacher. We are not here to defend him, we are intent on examining Rev. Wade's error-filled presentation.

The Asbury Outpouring/Revival/Somethings Going On Autopsy - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
--------------------

Rev. Wade is back with his ugly and obnoxious prose and sour attitude. His perverse glee in pronouncing Asbury as fake is unchristian and frankly, evil. Further, it serves no purpose. It does not edify, build faith, or spur us on to love and good deeds.

And we should note that as is typical for Rev. Wade, not a single Scripture is quoted or even referenced.

The New and Absurd Doctrine of "Functional Cessationism" - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
‐-----------

The petulant Rev. Wade is back, and he's just as unedifying as ever. Typically garrulous, here he expends nearly 2000 words (minus quoted material) to explain exactly zero. Further, other than the opening passage, he never quotes the Bible. Not once.

His typical techniques are

  • contradiction without explanation
  • rephrasing and redefining what his opponent wrote
  • making assertions as if they were self-evidently true
  • stream-of-consciousness prose wandering around looking for a point

There is no edification in this "devotional." Rev. Wade does what he always does: Isolate and attack a target for barely understandable reasons and invented offenses. A favorite one is Joseph Mattera, who is his target today. However, we do not intend to defend Mattera, we are only interested in Rev. Wade's presentation.

What's absurd in not "functional cessationism," but rather Rev. Wade's screed.

We shall see how long we are able to endure under this barrage of half-formed thoughts, irrelevant tangents, and imperious superiority.

Snowflake Apostate Christians Suffer the Persecution of Canceled Dinner Reservations - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
---------------

Rev. Wade shows his leftist political bonafides once again. And his aversion to the Bible as well, since he neither quotes nor references any Bible verse in this entire "devotional," other than the irrelevant opening Scripture. He has nearly 1500 words (minus quoted material) to explain some biblical principle, expound upon some matter of doctrine, or uplift the reader's faith.

He doesn't bother.

Rev. Wade is a reliably terrible writer. His presentations consist almost entirely of undocumented assertions, leaps of logic, false equivalencies, summary denials, and unintentional ironies, all written in a stream-of-consciousness impenetrable prose.

This is embarrassingly bad.

Dr. Michael Brown Blaming the Lost and Defending His War Against Them - By Anthony Wad

Found here. Our comments in bold.
-----------------

Rev. Wade's premise is in his title. But Dr. Brown never blames the lost, nor does he describe any sort of desire to war against them. These two accusations are the result of Rev. Wade insisting on his own definition of words. Dr. Brown employs the phrase "culture war" to describe the conflict between good and evil in society, which is a very common descriptor for the state of our country. Rev. Wade badly wants this phrase to mean that the other side of the "culture war" must be an enemy. Thus Dr. Brown is blaming sinners as being the enemy.

But no one uses the phrase in this way. In fact, it is a rather mild hyperbole used to describe the struggle between two world views.

Rev. Wade uses more than 2700 words (excluding quoted material). Notice that we summarized Rev. Wade's position in a couple of sentences. Because Rev. Wade is given to long tangents and stream-of-consciousness presentations, he is largely unable to express coherent thoughts.

In addition, Rev. Wade neither quotes nor references any Bible verse (except for the opening Scripture). Not a syllable of the Bible anywhere in this "devotion." No doctrine explained. No exegesis. No precept we might be able to use to enhance our walk of faith. No biblical principle clarified. Nothing of eternal importance.

Nothing.

We should say, we are not here to defend Dr. Brown. Our intent is to examine Rev. Wade's presentation.

Election Day 2022 - Exegeting Psalm 95 to Remember What God We Serve - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold

-----------------

Rev. Wade comes out with guns a-blazing again, this time disguised as an exegesis. If only he could set aside his leftist political agenda long enough to actually deliver a teaching, he might turn out to be good at it.

This has yet to happen, however. Today's article nothing more than a grenade toss at the NAR.

Dominionist - The Government is Meant for Moral People to Run It - LOL By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
--------------------------

It is with a great deal of reluctance that we once again comment on another Rev. Wade screed. We have long since abandoned any hope that Rev. Wade would be a competent Bible teacher. He's not a exegete. He's not a thinker. He's not even a very good writer.

Rev. Wade is a leftist political operative. And an inept one at that. Yet he still enjoys a certain amount of access to discernment websites who publish his articles. It's astonishing that they would do so, but considering the low quality of many of these websites, we should not be surprised.

His reason for writing is what he always writes about: Dominionism. Nearly every article is about this. But he never gets around to properly explaining dominionism, why it's wrong, or how the ones he targets are Dominionists.

Dominionism isn't political involvement. Advocating for candidates isn't dominionism. Running for political office isn't dominionism. Praying for America isn't dominionism. Patriotism isn't dominionism. Dominionism is the idea that Christians should take over government and society and install the Kingdom.

So we are here today to document more of his foolishness for the primary reason that hopefully readers of this blog will be armed with the truth if they ever encounter a Rev. Wade article.

Lastly, we will note that this is labeled as a devotional. But Rev. Wade explains no biblical precept, quotes no Bible verse (except for the opening Scripture), and does nothing to increase our devotion.

Excusia and Athentein - The Desperation of Christo-Feminism By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
---------------------

The churlish and antagonistic Rev. Wade expends almost 1600 words (not including quotes), but is barely able to quote Scripture. He will often appeal to the Bible without quoting it, preferring to state his undocumented claims with bombastic alacrity.

And as is typical for him, he is unable to do anything more than contradict and dismiss.

We should note that we do not intend to defend Hyatt, but we do wish to examine Rev. Wade's faulty presentation.

Christians Against Debt Forgiveness? Seriously? - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
------------------

If there remained any doubt that Rev. Wade is a leftist first and a Christian second (or third, or fourth...), this article should remove any doubt.

Rev. Wade so mangles the topic that we must seriously question his thinking skills. He happily mixes the obligations of Christians with the duties of government, he conflates commands to Israel with what Christians should do, and he mixes it all together in order to claim that opposition to the debt forgiveness is unchristian.

We should note that we are not here to defend Mr. Lasher, but rather, we shall analyze Rev. Wade's presentation.

Dr. Michael Brown Advocating to Regain the Apostate Church's False Prophetic Voice - By Anthony Wade

Found here. Our comments in bold.
----------------

Over 1800 words (minus the opening Scripture and Dr. Brown's quotes), and Rev. Wade cannot be bothered to quote a Scripture, except for the opening one. He purports to be teaching a "devotional," but it's actually a political hit piece.

Rev. Wade rarely explains anything. He simply denies and moves on. He is not a Bible teacher, he's a closet leftist.

We should note that we are not here to defend Dr. Brown. We are solely interested in Rev. Wade's presentation.
--------------------
