We've examined Ms. Johnstone in our blog before (Here, here, and here). She is reliably doctrinaire Left, and she is the worst kind: A producer of substanceless screeds designed only to gin up hatred. She provides absolutely no specifics, documentation, or identifies any conservative. That's because she's not writing to inform or explain. She's here to inflame, to demonize and isolate an imaginary target. This is what Leftists do.

In actual fact, it's the writing of a junior high student.

They pretend to oppose tyranny but start frantically licking boots whenever there’s a police shooting. They pretend to oppose war and applaud Trump’s warmongering. They pretend to be Christian and ignore most of the New Testament.

After spending days enthusiastically applauding Trump’s freakish act of imperialist aggression to oust the president of Venezuela on the grounds that he is a murderous tyrant, (Um, yeah, no. Does the author remember Obama capturing Saddam Hussein?)

Republicans in the United States (Republicans are not conservatives.)

are falling all over themselves to justify the cold-blooded murder of a mother of three by an ICE officer in Minneapolis.

The shooting was caught on video from multiple angles, and from every angle it looks completely unjustifiable by the standards of any normal human being. (If the author is representative of a "normal human being," normality is in deep trouble.

The actual legal standard is not "normal human being," it is "officer safety," which has been given wide leeway by the courts. Law enforcement often find themselves in tense situations where a split second decision can mean life or death. The officer, then, can reasonably act with force when a known hostile person is aiming her car at him.)

The officer will probably get off using the usual “feared for his life” defense claiming that he believed the woman was going to run him over with her car. (The author dismisses the legal precedent and the officer's justifiable fear as if they were nothing.)

But when you’re repeatedly firing your pistol into the side window of the vehicle, you know you’re not in any danger of being run over. He tracked her head with his gun well after he was out of harm’s way and pulled the trigger anyway, firing at the side of her head from the side of the vehicle. (The shooting this woman was certainly regrettable, but given the scenario that Good was not obeying lawful commands and drove her vehicle recklessly is certainly cause for the officer to fear for his safety.)

As one libertarian commentator noted, it was “Less a ‘she did X so I have to shoot her,’ and more of ‘she did X so I get to shoot her.’”

And yet this killing is being treated as a partisan issue, with leftists and Democrats denouncing the actions of the shooter and rightists ferociously defending them.

The president himself took the time to weigh in on this one, falsely claiming on Truth Social that the woman “ran over the ICE Officer” and that “it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital.” Anyone watching the videos can see this is a lie.

As Brad Reed notes for Common Dreams, “Eyewitness videos taken at the scene of the incident, however, do not show the officer getting run over at all. In fact, the officer can be seen walking around after discharging his weapon, with no signs of any injury. In fact, the video Trump posted on his Truth Social that he claims shows the officer being run over does not at all show the officer being run over, but rather stepping safely out of the way as the car starts moving forward.” (Oh, so the officer was agile enough to get out of the way of the racing car. So Good should be able to endanger an officer as long as she misses him...)

American conservatives are such gross frauds. (The author has yet to name any conservatives. Or frauds.)

And by the way, what was the Left's reaction when Ashli Babbitt was gunned down by an officer?

And if anyone is opportunistic about a shooting it is the Left.)

("President Barack Obama authorized an estimated 542 drone strikes during his presidency, representing a nearly tenfold increase over his predecessor. These operations primarily targeted non-battlefield regions including Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia under the legal framework of the AUMF.")

They pretend to be Christian and ignore most of the New Testament. ("They" do? Ok, name the verses "they" ignore.

And by the way, "conservative," "Republican," and "Christian" are not the same people.)

They pretend to support freedom of speech and then support Trump stomping out speech that is critical of Israel. (??? Leaving speech you don't like has nothing to do with free speech.

Irony Alert. Did we hear a peep from the Left in support of the parents speaking their mind to school boards? Where was the leftist chorus of support for the grandma arrested for silently praying outside an abortion clinic? Did the Left join together and support Ben Shapiro when he was denied permission to speak on a college campus? No?)

They pretend to support the rule of law and then applaud when Trump openly kidnaps the president of a sovereign nation to steal its oil. (The author swerves back to Venezuela...)

They pretend to oppose big government Actually, conservatives opposed unconstituional government.)

and then applaud trillion-dollar military budgets and the expansion of government departments to flood the streets with armed thugs. (Remember, the author is still talking about conservatives and all that they do. Yet she hasn't named any conservatives or quoted them. We are pretty certain that she has no idea what a conservative is.)

It’s not that they’re hypocrites. It’s that they’re liars. They’re groveling, power-worshipping bootlickers, and then they make up a bunch of fake stories about themselves to make them feel like they’re actually decent people.

They are not decent people. They are genocidal warmongers with their tongues firmly inserted into the anuses of the most powerful people on the planet. They are everything they pretend to hate. They are everything that is wrong with this world. (So ends the thoughtful commentary of an intellectual Leftist. A diatribe that blames all the world's ills on a strawman construction. No specifics, no quotes, no documentation. In other words, agitprop.)
