Denying Scripture is a pure sign that you are NOT saved. Plain and simple.

Found this on FB.

What does it mean to "deny Scripture?" Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but I got to thinking about this, and I decided that it's false. So why would it be false to claim that denying Scripture means you're not saved?

First, we are saved by the mercy of God via the blood of Jesus as the Holy Spirit kindles His life in us.
Ro. 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
Tit. 3:5-7 ...he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Ro. 5:9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!
In contrast, Scripture is the message of salvation, not the method. It also is a way we are taught righteous living. We are sanctified by the Word:
Jn. 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
Second, it's a Category Error. Salvation doesn't depend on acknowledging or denying Scripture.

Third, We don't know what "denying Scripture" is. Is it having alternate interpretations of certain passages? Is it a wholesale denial of the inspiration of Scripture? Is it the occasional ignoring of the plain commands of Scripture? Is it holding onto false or misleading doctrines due to ignorance or bad teaching?
